Depth Study Requirement Curriculum

You are required to take nine credit hours of Humanities/Literature/Fine Arts (HU/L/FA) and nine credit hours of History/Social Behavior Science (HI/SB).

The depth study requires you to take six of these eighteen credit hours from the same subject (i.e., Economics, Communications) and the same category (HU/L/FA or HI/SB).

For example:

You could take COM 100 (Humanities) and COM 123 (Humanities) to satisfy your depth study because they makeup six credit hours from the same subject (COM) and the same category (Humanities).

You CANNOT take COM 101 (Social Behavior) and COM 123 (Humanities) to complete your depth study because even though they are in the same subject but from different categories (HI/SB).

 Prerequisite Rule

You must earn a C– or higher in ALL courses that are a prerequisite to another course.
